Every fact on this site is dated and sourced, which means every one of them can be checked — and some of them will be wrong. Corrections are recorded and published, not quietly edited away.

A correction

Something here is inaccurate, out of date, or missing context. Tell us which page and which fact. We re-check it against the source, and if it changes, the correction is logged with the date and stays visible — the old value is not deleted.

Right of reply

You run a business named on this site and want to respond. Your reply is published alongside the item, in your words. You do not need to agree with the item for it to be carried, and we record the request whether or not you choose to answer.

A provider we have missed

There are hundreds of funeral businesses in the national registry and this site lists a fraction of them. If yours is missing, say so. Listing is free and always will be — nobody can pay to appear, to rank, or to be removed.

Press and research

The underlying research is open: every figure on this site comes from a data file you can read, and the industry record carries its citations. Ask if you need the method behind any particular number.

What we will not do

Worth stating plainly, because the usual answer in this industry is the opposite.

We will not remove a sourced, accurate fact because a business would prefer it gone.
We will not accept payment to list, to rank, to re-order, or to omit.
We will not publish an item naming a business without first offering them a reply.
We will not publish anything we cannot show you the source for.
